All Day Cards: Adding and customising the Section

This guide goes through the process of building and customising the All Day Card section in Trips. Learn how to organize day overviews, and showcase key locations

What is the All Day Card?

All Day Cards give you a quick snapshot of each day’s journey with images, key locations, and a short overview for a route. They are a type of section that is added to your presentation and are a long form way of explaining the journey your charterers will take. 

How to insert the All Day Card

To add the All Day Card to your presentation:

1. Start by navigating to a Route page within your presentation. You can find your route pages by clicking on the 'Routes' button in the top navigational bar. 

Make sure you are in Routes and select "+Add Section"

If you only have one route and no yachts in your presentation, you will be on the Route page by default. 

2. Insert a new section via the '+Add Section" that appears when you hover between two sections within the presentation. This will open the select section menu.Click on the section called "All Day Cards" to add it to your presentation.

How to customise your All Day Card Section

To customise the All Day Card section by clicking the edit icon at the top right corner of the section. The action panel will appear when you hover. 

1. To modify the layout, gallery and settings, start by clicking the pencil icon in the top right part of the section.

Click on highlight

2. To make changes to the images shown on the section, click the tab titled 'Gallery'. 

The gallery makes it easy to update photos in the All Day Card section. You can drag images from the gallery to replace existing ones or upload your own. Any uploaded photos will automatically be added to all gallery components on the page.

Click on Settings

3. Click "Settings" to adjust the section settings. For the All Day Card, you can toggle the option to display or hide the distance from the last port under each location name.

 

⚡Quick Tip

You can preview the presentation before sharing it; simply click the 'Preview' button at the top of the screen.
