A summary for creating and completing a contract.
Introduction
Our contracts application is specifically built to standardise the Term, Day and addendum Charter Contract process between the four major parties: The Charter broker (or Retail Agent), the Charterer, the Central Agent and the Owner of the Yacht.
Our contracts operate under a double-blind agreement between the Charterer and the Owner. This means that party representatives, such as the Central Agent and the Charter Broker, can view each other's details but the Charterer cannot see the Owners details and the Owner cannot see the Charter's details.
Table 1: Outlines the double-blind visibility rules for our contracts for Charterer, Charter Broker, Central Agent and Yacht Owner users.

Quick overview of the process
The process consists of six simple steps:
- The Charter Broker (Retail Agent) selects a template to begin.
- The Charter Broker fills out and signs the first section of the document.
- The Charter Broker sends the document to the Charterer, who then signs it.
- Once both the Charter Broker and Charterer have signed, the contract is sent to the Stakeholder (usually the Central Agent), who signs it and adds the Ownerโs details before forwarding a copy to the Owner.
- The Owner reviews and signs the contract.
- Once all parties have signed, the contract becomes legally binding, and copies are distributed. Personal details of the Charterer and Owner are redacted where necessary.
